Children's Theatre of Knoxville presents "James and The Giant Peach”, a rollicking
fantasy from Roald Dahl, the creator of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” A magical
peach! An imprisoned boy! Insect friends! An incredible journey! The amazing
adventure of James Henry Trotter will fulfill the fantasy of anyone who has ever
dreamed of escape. Roald Dahl’s story comes hilariously to life in this delightful
dramatization that reveals the wickedness of some, the goodness of others, and the
indecision encountered by many when they are faced with crises.
The cast includes Blair Johnson, Rachel MacLean, Tessa Goodnight, Hannah Sloas, Lucy
Greer, Holland Hysmith, Lauren Cook, Abigail Coughlin, Caleigh Schaad, Caroline Dyer,
Timothy Blackwell, Jordan Bridges, Emily McMichael, Rowan Young, Kelsie Anderson,
Sean Sloas, Will White, Amber Hull, Madison Austin, Jaden Lily Branson, Zachary Hull,
Lawrence Madson, Anna McMichael and Brandon Wilhoit. Directed by Executive Director
Zack Allen. Assistant Direction by Ashlee Latimer.
Performances will take place at Children's Theatre of Knoxville, 800 Tyson St.,
Knoxville, TN 37917.
Tickets are $11. If an adult and a child come together, each ticket is $9, $18 for the
pair.
