Disney on Ice was great!

We had a great time at this afternoon's show, I thoroughly recommend it. The only thing is trying to stay firm and not buy a ton of the Disney merchandise, the binoculars that look like a snorkel mask were particularly hard to resist! But the show was great and the kids loved it. There are still shows tomorrow if they're not sold out. Don't forget to use the code word 'Knoxmom' if you're buying four or more tickets to save!

We loved this show! We've always laid down the rules about not buying anything when we go to shows. It just gets to expensive when you have to buy 2 of everything. We have a light up toys for both girls that we bring to each show and I also pack a bag of cotton candy and drinks in my purse.

We liked it too! I agree, it was total merchandising overload in the lobby. I offered to buy my daughter one of those little stuffed "Squirts", but she wasn't interested, so I figured we'd escaped without having to buy any chach. Then I took my eyes off the hubby for a split second, and he was off to buy one of those psychadelic light-up Nemo things! Eesh. Very cool show though, especially all the costumes!

Yep, the show was really good. My son had a blast. They know how to get us as parents through the food and merchandise. I'll admit, we spent too much (mostly of food as we were coming straight from work without dinners). We did by son a "Bruce' stuffed animal (he really wanted a light-up toy but he has a ton at home).

We bought the t-shirt combo-2 shirts and a treasure chest. We always allow for a sno-cone too. Some things we allow, some we don't. She has had light ups in the past, didn't think to take one, we should have.
