Bass Pro shop Santa

Well today we decided to drive from Knoxville to Sevierville to visit the Santa at Bass Pro. we got there about 2:20 and were told that Santa was on lunch till 3:00. Well that was ok but then we were told that we would have to take a card and our appointment would not be till 4:00. We had a two year old and five year old and no way they were gonna wait almost two hours to see Santa. We were highly disappointed so we just left. I will not go back to this establishment again anytime soon. Hope you have better experience.

We normally don't drive up just for Bass Pro but if we are in town we'll stop there on our way back. one time we stopped in during their summer events but didn't know the event was going on. So when we arrived it was an extra special treat. We ended up leaving with some coloring papers, some education on camping, a couple badges and more. Veg had a great time.

But they had a kayaking thing outside for the kids which was way too cool. Yeah it is crowded there and getting in line to buy something can be a chore. But then they have a Starbucks inside so I work that in to my "wait" time :-).

Sorry you had a bad experience. Sounds like if we want to do this event we have to get their early early....
