also..anything Tonka and trucks or trains...he can learn about his favorite stuff while reading!

Oh, yes, yes, the Pigeon books by Mo Willems!! My children were obsessed with those for a while, and still love to read them often. I think we have all but one. I love all his books, but the kids' favorites are the Pigeon ones.
