My best friend joined the service 7 years ago. It was hard because he was a friend I was with daily. But I understood his reasons and supported him through the process. He did 3 long nerve wrecking tours in Iraq and after 5 years a husband and 2 kids later we drifted, although we email and facebook it has been a long time since we hung out. Not that there is a loss of love there, I still think of him as my best friend.

The last time I saw him was when Madison was 13 months old he came over for dinner and she took her first steps walking to him. Awe.

Anywho. A week ago he was just on my heart something fierce. I thought about him the entire night. He has a girlfriend and I just felt like this girl is the one and I needed to meet her and spend more time with him.
I went home that night and emailed him telling him I was thinking of him and missed him and had this crazy feeling that this girl was the one and when did I get to go ring shopping with him!

The next day Hubby and I went to lunch with the girls. Hubby usually works on Fridays but they were slow and they gave everyone the day off so we decided out of the blue to go out for lunch. We walk in and I am standing there reading the riot act to the girls and Hubby taps me and tells me to look over there. I look and THERE HE IS!

I go over and give him a hug and am just in disbelief. I had done nothing but think of him for the last 12 hours and here he is! I ask him if he checked his email and he said no. I tell him to check it and he gets this look on his face. He had not long before decided this was going to keep this one.

Isn't it funny how sometimes you know things before you know them and run into people you have been thinking about?
Or have a feeling you need your phone and pick it up just in time for it to ring?

Anyone else have days where your psychic?

yep...a few weeks ago when Brodie choked I had been having panic attacks all day leading up to it...they stopped as soon as it happened...weird right?!
