It's that time again, The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will engage children in the exciting world of music with the annual Family Concert. The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will introduce children ages 3-8 their music at the next Family Concert. As well as the highly anticipated appearance of Picardy Penguin, the KSO musicians will also be joined on stage by avocalist Katy Wolfe Zahn and Go! Contemporary Dance Works. During this Family Concert, children will have a unique opportunity to learn and explore the various types of dance music including ballet, tap, tango and even the Hokey-Pokey! The concert begins at 2p.m. on Sunday, November 22, but be sure to get there early for the pre-concert activities which will take place in the lobby of the Tennessee Theatre prior to the concert. Activities include an instrument petting zoo, a musical discovery zone and an arts and crafts station.
