Danny Mayfield Park
About: Danny Mayfield Park was opened as a neighborhood park during the renovation of the historic Mechanicsville in November 2004. An outdoor art gallery displays various African art sculptures for public viewing. Other amenities include a large shelter with electricity, a playground, and an outdoor classroom for students from the adjacent Manyard Elementary School and the nearby Knoxville College.
