Description: Celiac Disease, or gluten intolerance, is a genetic autoimmune disease that is estimated to affect 1 of every 100 people in the U.S. Research indicates there are approximately 2.5 million people with celiac disease in the U.S., though only approximately 80,000 of those have been diagnosed. Meetings are usually held in the Menschendorf Conference Room, Koppel Plaza, on the East Tennessee Children's Hospital campus, at 6:00 p.m. on the third Monday of every other month. Some meetings are held at other locations for special events.

If you have questions about selecting exciting reads to share with your child, I know of some really interesting ones and some come with ideas to help enrich the experience. Though I work with Preschool children, I worked as a children's librarian for seven years and I love to share books with kids of all ages. But what would be even better for a child than me sharing them, is YOU sharing them! One of the best things in the world for a child is when MOM or DAD read them.
