Description: Bloom Into Parenting Naturally
Description: Lisa Paul, childbirth educator will be holding natural childbirth classes in Knoxville. Based on the book Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth, this 4 week series will focus on a natural methods of birth. Subjects taught will include relaxation techniques, nutrition tips, overview of the stages of labor, how to handle potential complications and the role of the birth partner to reduce the pain of labor. All classes will be held at the Lisa Ross Birth and Women's Center from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Classes will meet for 4 consecutive Mondays. Cost is $75/birth team. Description: Get your manners in shape this summer with "Miss Manners' Boot Camp". Classes are taught by Mendal Hyde. Mendal is a certified etiquette consultant of The American School of Protocol, certified elementary teacher, and parent of two. Each two hour class will cover the basics: Introductions, telephone etiquette, table manners, setting the table, thank you notes, and "Different Manners for Different Places". Older groups will also discuss dressing for the occasion, party planning and looking your best.
